There are some good things and bad things about television in Thailand. Cable television has small problems like it quits working when it rains and even sometimes when it doesn’t rain. Another small problem is that the voice doesn’t always match the lips of the speaker. Another problem is that sometimes the picture is fuzzy or has lines on the screen. Another small problem is that cable television seems to repeat the same movies. These are just a few of the small problems that I can think of right now and I think there might be more.

My friends from Germany, Israel, Japan, France, Spain, Portugal, Holland, Italy, Korea, America and many other countries miss their home country television programs.
Satellite television is 100% clear too. I bought a brand new big screen Television and when I hooked it up to cable TV, I got a fuzzy picture. I thought that a new TV would solve the fuzzy picture problem but it didn’t. Only satellite television has 100% clear pictures and coordinate voice.
So, now you know the solution to great television reception in Thailand. But, where are you going to find it? The oldest, biggest and best place to buy satellite dish television in Pattaya is at “Kim Electric”. Mr. Kim has a display at Big-C next to Duck Square, South Pattaya Road off of Sukhumvit Road. However, his main shop is in Naklua across from Family Mart on Naklua Road. Look for the satellite dish on the roof, TV antennas and a huge television tower. Another good thing to know about “Kim Electronic” is that this is the service center for all brand name electronic equipment or appliances that you might have purchased anywhere in the world that is under a warranty. The warranty that you have will pay all parts and labor. So, if you are having problems with your TV or whatever, call Mr. Kim because he and is staff of 15 people have years and years of experience and the latest education and equipment to fix your TV or whatever.
Dream a little. Can you imagine having music in every room in the house or condo? Ask Mr. Kim about the sound system that he can put into every room including the bathroom. Now, that’s luxury and class and practical too.
Do you travel back to your country for a few months of the year? Some television systems require that you pay every month whether you use it or not and it costs a lot of money to disconnect and reconnect. There is one system that allows you to pay by the month so you can go back to your country and not have to pay for television while you are away. Also, if you move to new accommodations, you own the receiver and satellite dish. So, you simply take it with you whereever you go.
