When the editor ask me to write a story on a lawyer, I thought that I don’t know a lawyer in Pattaya. Well, my friends, was I surprised at the free education that I got when I went to the biggest Law office I could find in Pattaya.

Then towards the end of the interview I sprang it on them…HA HA HA. I asked them if they could tell me anything about the immigration act B.B 2522 Section 38 and Section 77? Well, of course they were familiar with it. Did you know the Thai government is trying to help you? They get calls from all over the world looking for you. Wherever you live in Thailand, the hotel or person you rent from or yourself are responsible for informing the immigration office of your address with a simple form letter and if they fail to do so, then they are subject to a fine. Also, your country requires that you keep your countries Embassy in Thailand informed of your residence at all times with a simple form letter.
